Initially I need the email address to send the email with the download links for the purchased product/freebie. Thereafter I store the transaction details for legal and tax purposes for 4 years.
For marketing, I use the address for no other reason than for sending my newsletter to my email list. I never have and never will sell or use your email address in any other way.
