A new series featuring hand-painted watercolours of broken porcelain (pique assiette in French). The first products are in classic blue and white porcelain mosaics of a Cross for Faith, an Anchor for Hope and a Heart for Love. I have had many enquiries if my blue porcelain watercolour painting is for sale as a poster.
Alas not - it is framed and hanging on a wall - which makes scanning it for a print a matter of having to remove it from the frame and having it drum scanned, as it is a very large painting.
​I have started to recreate the poster with new paintings of all the objects shown in the original. I'll give a progress report here on the blog.
​In the mean time I have made a postcard from the photograph and added gift tags from items in the painting, as well as a new teacup tag - for free download.
