Traditional Ukrainian folk Easter eggs were the inspiration for this collection of products, ranging from a Cut-n-Make Book and a Color and Craft Book to Printable Crafts and Ready-to-Buy products.
I recently saw fabulous examples in the folk museum in St.Petersburg, Russia. I also bought an actual wax resist and dye Pysanki craft kit and book at the Russian Orthodox church in Helsinki eons ago (below). The kit includes a kistka for applying wax, dyes and bee's wax. Years later, I have yet to actually make some according to the traditional folk method - but one day I will!
I just love the bold graphics and bright colours, as I am not keen on the usual Spring pastels for my Easter displays. So I will be adding some of these products to my all-white-with-black-accents interior. I intend to use some crafted items, as well as Anni Arts POD items I have ordered - teamed with red and yellow tulips. And who knows - I might paint some or make wax resist and dye Pysanki eggs seeing that I have started on this look. Will keep you posted if I venture so far!
PS. There are some free downloads with the two books here on Anni Arts.
